If you are a Customer and you disclose Personal Information relating to others, such as a Candidate, you represent that you have obtained all necessary consents and have the authority to disclose such information to us and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We collect Personal Information for various purposes and in various contexts as part of our activities. We describe these purposes in the tables below.

Candidates
Colare provides AI-powered real-world simulations to assess a Candidate’s engineering skills on behalf of various employers (our Customers). A Candidate is invited to undergo an assessment on Colare’s platform by our Customer, the hiring company.
Once you complete your assessment and click to submit it, the assessment results will be shared with our Customer after our review and scoring. Please note that the Customer (your potential employer) is responsible for (and the controller of) the Personal Information that is shared with them through your submission of the assessment. Colare is not responsible for the Customer’s processing of your Personal Information and such processing activities are not part of this Privacy Policy. Please refer to the privacy policy of the company that invited you to take the assessment for information on how they handle your Personal Information.
This Privacy Policy applies only to Colare’s own processing of your Personal Information for the purposes described below:

Other service providers for IT and related infrastructure, email delivery, and other services.
We will also disclose your Personal Information as necessary or appropriate, in particular when we have a legal obligation or legitimate interest to do so, to:
Law enforcement, public, regulatory, and government authorities, courts, tribunals, or third parties where necessary to comply with applicable law and regulations;
Professional advisors, such as accountants, actuaries, auditors, experts, consultants, lawyers, banks, and financial institutions;
Third parties, such as an acquiring entity and its advisors, in connection with a sale or business transaction. We may disclose or transfer your Personal Information in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
